Ionian Stand Up Bed

The Ionian Stand Up Bed operates as a fully profiling bed with high/low movements and introduces an additional feature: the ability to transition from a flat 180-degree horizontal lying position to a 90-degree vertical standing position.

For individuals facing challenges in sitting or standing, or those with difficulty in doing so independently, significant limitations are imposed on their physical health and social well-being. The Ionian Stand Up Bed addresses these challenges by providing an easy-to-use handset that allows clients to effortlessly transition between positions, promoting improved mobility in a smooth and comfortable motion. The ability to stand up and move freely around the home promotes better digestion, less restricted circulation and stronger bone development.

Tailored to the client’s specific physical needs or preferences, the Ionian can be customised in length, accommodating individuals of any size, from 4’ to 7’ tall, with a weight limit of 25 stone (158kg). For added security, bedside rails can be included to prevent the client from sliding or falling out of the bed.

With the client no longer requiring assistance in standing up or getting out of bed, caregivers are relieved of the physical strain and injury risk associated with regular lifting and handling.
